Medical receptionist role

 

We are a family-owned general practice seeking a casual medical receptionist to work within our team. If you are seeking to be a part of building a successful clinic, we want you! If you have medical reception experience, we want to hear from you- but not a requirement for the role.

 

Start Date – Immediate

 

The role:

• You will be the first contact for patients and will make them feel welcome to the clinic.
• Key responsibilities include managing bookings for all our doctors as well as allied health professionals (eg: psychologist appointments)
• Managing inbound and outbound calls professionally with courtesy and empathy.
• You will be responsible for general administration duties, billing, data entry, Scanning and updating all patient-related correspondence.

 

About you:

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Experienced computer skills with Microsoft Word and Outlook (best practice software knowledge is desirable).
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to work autonomously and be self-driven as well as be actively collaborating with general practitioner and nurses when required.

 

This is a casual position and flexibility is essential. The role will require availability on weekends and public holidays.

Clinic Nurse (RN ) role

 

We are a family-owned general practice seeking a casual/ part time register nurse or to work within our team. If you are seeking to be a part of building a successful clinic, we want you! We are seeking an interactive, enthusiastic team member who is ready to engage with our patients.

 

Start date – Immediate

 

 The Role:

 

• Registered nurse position
• Helping with immunisations as well as monitoring and observing post vaccination
• Helping coordinate patient referrals in collaboration with General Partitioners

• Providing Wound care and assisting with minor procedures
• Coordination, Management and maintenance of patient clinical data
• Pay rate will be paid as per the award and apron experience

 

About you:

• APRA registered enrolled or registered nurse
• Current CPR & first Aid Certificate
• Strong team engagement and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaborating with general practitioners.
• Sound computer skills with excellent communicational skills (Best practice knowledge desirable).
• Previous clinic nurse experience advantageous, but not essential.

 

This is a casual position and flexibility is essential. The role will require availability Monday to Friday.
